Hello my friends. Lately, I’ve been seeing clients having a hard time with spiritual awakening, whether that’s intense physical activations, strong cases of existentialism, physical detox and illness as a result of clearing, and extreme cases of fatigue and exhaustion.
These are all normal parts of clearing our physical and spiritual bodies. Remember that spritiual awakening is a Process and a lengthy one at that. I think we live in a culture that wants results yesterday. It’s like I joke with my husband, ‘it should be like Amazon. At your door before you press ‘Submit Order’.
I want to give you a permission slip to slow down today and understand that your physical body works at a different space than your spirit. It’s more dense, it has to work through many layers, and it takes TIME. Naturally, as human beings, we must move through Time and Space. This is a law. We cannot avoid or jump over that part.
As someone who teaches about Quantum Energy, I still have to remind students that we must move through life slowly, breath by breath. And I don’t think people, especially those of us in the West who have a ‘magic pill’ for everything, want to hear that.
A great reminder I so deeply received in my last visit to Hawai’i, (and every time I return without fail!!!) is the Power of Breath.

70. The ONE Spiritual Practice we’re ALL Forgetting
We can clear templates for generations but that doesn’t mean they are complete. We still have to move through it all physically which can sometimes just feel exhausting, overwhelming and quiet honestly, annoying. And that’s where our humanness has an opportunity to kick in. To remind us that there is no final destination. That things are sometimes sticky and gooey. And that’s ok, cause we get to live it all.
So today I want to share with you 4 very simple quotes I’ve picked up along my spiritual awakening journey which always Hit home. They drop me down to the simplicity and humility of the earth and remind me that at the end of the day, we’re just doing our best, and sometimes, when things are difficult, we receive invitations to slow down and detach from any ‘perfected final outcome’ we believe we’re supposed to arrive at.
4 Quotes To Remember When Spiritual Awakening Gets Difficult
Spiritual awakening quote #1
✨Stillness. Emptiness. Nothingness. This is what we return to.
We can get to attached and chase experience after experience, thinking that somehow the more dramatic they are the more they will ‘uplevel and upgrade us’.
I see many people chasing moments of bliss, drama, entertainment, flashy performances, all in the name of spirituality. These are nothing but light shows and thrills to the uninitiated.
Spirituality has become a Hollywood movie that promises a golden basket of coins at the end of the rainbow and I think it’s important to ask yourself on this journey:
What are you truly seeking?
What do you genuinely desire?
What truly, deeply, honestly, do you most yearn for?
When you take away all the fluff and circus performances, you are left with the one true thing. Oneness.
The everything in the nothingness.
Meditate on that and return to that, knowing that no shaman, ayahuasca ceremony or guru has the answer you are looking for.
Stop chasing experiences as confirmations and allow your life to be the confirmation of your path.
Spiritual awakening quote #2
✨Pick up a stick. Take it with you. You’ll be fine.
I will never forget the moment that I heard this from a wise elder.
I reached out because I was feeling ‘overwhlemed’ with what was being shown to me on my path. I didn’t think I could hold it and I kept thinking to myself ‘there must be something I’m not seeing or understanding’. I was in deep internal despair, weeping with emotion and spiritual uncertainty.
He took me aside and just looked at me. After taking a slow breath he says a variation of the following ‘Carry protection. Always know you are protected. Here, (he picks up sticks) it can be something like this. Infuse it with your love and carry it with you. You will be fine. Keep trusting the path’.
I can’t explain it to you in words what happened inside me in that moment.
It was like all the chatter, all the emotional upset, all the running around that my mind was doing, It STOPPED.
It had nothing to hold onto.
There was no easy fix. There was no solution. There was no running away. There was nothing ‘I was not seeing’.
It was simply where I was and what was ahead of me, in that moment. That’s all.
And somehow, in that simplicity, my spirit calmed.
I don’t believe any of that was meant to be taken literal. It was meant to hit my spirit in a way of saying ‘child, you are divine. remember. nothing on your path is too large for your undertaking. sometimes, when things are hard, return to the sticks (the plain simplicity and nothingness of the journey). here, you will calm the spirit and allow for a natural space to be created for your mind to settle into a deeper acceptance of it all.’
Spiritual awakening is tough, especially for those who are here to hold a certain role for their community. There is no doubt about it. There will be initiations and moments where you doubt everything about life, your journey, your choices, this world.
me. I wake up daily. I train my mind. I prepared my body. I do the rituals. I clear my blocks. I reset my field. It’s me and me. No one is involved and no one needs to know.
Spiritual awakening quote #3
✨Every gift comes with a Curse. You must lift yourself from that curse as part of the initiatory process. Although there will be guides and helpers along the way, no one can do it for you.
The more power you are here to hold, the more initiation you will have to encounter.
Nothing is given for free and you must be prepared to hold your Destiny.
It’s truly that simple, and honestly, I really, deeply WISH someone would have told me that over 10 years ago. Because in some sense, you must own this path. And noone will do what it takes for you. It’s up to you. And it’s taken me a really, really, REALLY long time to come to terms with that.
Spiritual awakening quote #4
✨Enlightenment. And then chop wood.
This quote reminds me of the Power of Simplicity and humility.
I’ve experienced some very gnarly and crazy things that have left me feeling no trace of my humanness for long periods of time. Meaning, fully cosmic, out there, multi-dimensional, experiences. To return from those moments back to our human life is, I believe, a practice that we must develop through time.
No matter what you experience, who you to speak or what you live, go ‘chop wood’. Clean your house. Water the garden. Sweep the floor. This has been one of the most profound teachings on my path, especially when cosmic consciousness is activated and we feel like ‘what’s the point of being a human again?’. Let the simple activities of every day life turn into the magical opportunities to be in communion with spirit.
Spiritual guidance
One last suggestion I’d like to share for anyone having a hard time with higher frequencies like I did in the beginning of my path. Remember that you get to command the energy. If you ever feel like it’s too strong or things are getting ‘out of control’:
Command it to stop.
If you choose not to stop it and are having difficulties, you will have to reorient parts of your life to support the path ahead.
Do not allow ‘spiritual awakening’ to get the best of you. Remember, you are here first and foremost to have a human experience. All that is destined for you shall come in divine timing.
Divine Feminine Ascension Mentorship
If you are called to walk the initiatory path of the feminine, or feel that receiving support on your spiritual awakening journey is be of benefit to you at this time, I invite you to tune into the my Divine Feminine Ascension Mentorship .
This mentorship is created for women who are moving through initiatory moments on their path and are needing additional guidance and energy work to support them. Sometimes we need someone who can remind us or help us see what we cannot.
I did not randomly pick these quotes from some google search. I have received them from teachers or moments of deep uncertainty, where nothing worked, and I needed something or someone to support me.
This path is not mean to be walked alone.
It is one of the most beautiful things to find each other along the way, reminding us of the power of this journey and all of it’s mystical synchronicities we have put in place to support moments of doubt and initiation.
Sending you many moments of Deep Remembrance and Inner Stillness,
