I’ve been in the womb world for about a decade and there’s one thing that still surprises me to this day: Women are still suffering from PMS! It drives me crazy to say the least and I am fully devoted to helping women heal PMS naturally because not only have I done it myself and for tons of other clients, but it’s something that is so simple when we UNDERSTAND why we have PMS in the first place!
So, instead of listing all the foods, and herbs and supplements that you will find on Google, today I’m going to tell you how to get to the ROOT CAUSE so you can actually heal PMS naturally and not just have bandaids to treat the pain.

I’ve come to realize that some of the most simple topics are the most necessary so today, I’m sharing with you some life-changing tips on how to NEVER experience PMS symptoms, Menstrual Pain or subconscious hate toward your Period.
In fact, we are going to discuss one of my favorite topics:
How to LOVE your Period!! (jumping up and down right now for any woman about to take this in for the first time!)
Ok, so first thing is first, if we’re going to Heal PMS, menstrual Pain or subconscious hate around our menstrual cycle, the first thing we need to do is look at the number ONE culprit in the Room:
THE WOMB!
I want to welcome you into the world of the Womb for a moment. Come in, take a seat, and let’s understand a few things about this oh-so Sacred Space that has been completely misunderstood and disregarded to say the least.
The Womb is by far the most sacred, powerful and magical center in our body. That’s my opinion after a decade of working with her alongside hundreds of clients and I have to say all my clients would agree.
Why is she so sacred, powerful and magical? Well, think about it like this, the egg you came from was once in your grandmother’s womb….yes, we just went back a generation or so.
The ability for the womb to track time, experiences and relationships is way beyond our logical mind. In fact, the womb holds 7 generations of information before us, and 7 generations going forward! So let’s just say, you’re carrying a whole lot of memories, information and possibilities in there right now.
So now knowing this, how can we get mad at the womb when it’s her very responsibility to carry information across lineages, be the keeper of Creation between the spiritual and physical plane and simultaneously cleanse you each month of the energy that is no longer serving you? I don’t blame her! How could you?
THE ROLE OF THE WOMB
If you’re new to understanding the Role of the Womb, I’d suggest going back and reading The Role of the Womb on the Spiritual Path and also Womb Wisdom & Healing These will give you a greater understanding of the What & Why behind the Womb so we can strictly focus today on the HOW of Healing PMS.
HEALING PMS
I can confidently say, after working with hundreds of women around womb wisdom and womb healing, that PMS is your womb screaming at you and trying to communicate that there is an IMBALANCE in your body, mind or spirit. This imbalance is to be taken seriously and there are things we must do in order to understand why it’s screaming out for help. As a womb healer, I do not attribute pain to the external world and circumstances. Everything, ( EVERYTHING) has a ROOT cause and when we can find the root cause we no longer needs teas, vitamins, supplements, prayers, etc. No shame in using those at all but my point is, if you keep using Band-Aids to cover up the root cause:
- You will forever depend on the band-aids which will eventually no longer work because your body will get used to it
- You will pass on your root cause to your children (because that’s how the womb works)
- The root cause will then spread into other areas of your body (you can only repress issues for so long. energy moves and it will find another way to show itself – am I making myself clear? dis-ease is caused by too many band-aids and not enough root cause treatment.

Before I go off on listing all of my tips for today’s blog, I’d like to mention that I will not be discussing womb trauma here although the majority of women who come to me with severe PMS pain have womb trauma. Working with so many women and also running a non-profit healing organization specifically catered to supporting women with womb trauma, I will say that many women experience PMS because of womb trauma that comes from:

their personal life
-
their mother line
-
their past generations (both mother and father)
-
past-lifetimes
-
Soul/Karmic lessons
- their relationship to the Masculine
If you feel this pertains to you, the following tips are still very supportive to help ease PMS symptoms and start your womb healing journey but I would suggest booking a Womb Quantum Healing Session or looking into the Seductress path inside the S.O.F.I.A. School which is all about reclaiming the Womb as your source of Power (and is part of tip #6).
First and foremost, Create Awareness of your Cycle and Understand Cyclical Living. If you are not living according to your Cyclical Nature, there is no way you will be able to heal from PMS pain. That would be like saying it’s ok to wear summer clothes in winter and not experience cold. I’d be lying to you.
This does NOT mean using an APP to track when your bleed will come. In fact, this is the exact opposite of what you should be doing.

TIP #2: Connect with and Nourish your Womb
Your Womb is alive as you are and requires attention. If you had liver issues, you would likely do something for your liver, right? So why is it that when our womb is in pain, we just take painkillers and treat it as if it behaves differently than the rest of our body?
If your womb is yelling at you, treat her as you would a crying child. Sit with her. Ask her questions. Get Curious about why she is yelling and screaming (I’m serious). We must connect and nourish our wombs like women have done for thousands of years. There are several ways to do this and it should be done daily if you are experiencing PMS.
Remember, PMS begins WAY BEFORE THE PAIN comes in. Once the pain comes in, it’s because something has already happened. The best way to heal PMS naturally is to take preventative steps in connecting with and understanding your womb throughout your entire cycle, not just when the pain comes!

TIP #3: Learn how to Cleanse your Womb.
No matter your age, your womb story or your background, your womb (even if you have had a hysterectomy or are on birth control) is a keeper of history and a filter for its immediate environment.
Let me explain:
Your womb is a keeper of History:
Each energy center and organ has a frequency, as we mentioned before, the frequency of your womb carries a lot more than just your lifetime of experiences. This means your womb holds the memory and history of the 7 generations of women that have come before you. Think for a moment about what those women just might have encountered……
Your womb is a filter to its immediate environment:
This means your womb is cleansing and purifying the energy of those closest to you and those that live with you (and those you spend the most time with i.e. coworkers, family, friends, etc.)
Given this, you must know how to CLEANSE your womb of the energy it carries and is continuously picking up and filtering.
Put it this way, your husband gets home from work and had a bad day. You get into an argument and after a few hours he feels better because the energy was released. But you? You have a headache, your heart is heavy and your body is fatigued. On top of that, your period arrives early and your breasts are way more sore than usual.
This is NOT a coincidence. I have been tracking my period daily for over 5 years now. Every single circumstance we live as women will be processed by our bodies and ‘released’ during our period (not verbatim as described above because everyone is different but you get the point).

Using Pain killers disrupts our natural connection to the womb and stops communication between the womb and the brain. Beyond that, it also desensitizes us and as women, being soft and gentle is our Superpower.
If you have Pain, learn to communicate and understand the Pain! Why is it there? Where does it come from? Stop shutting up the pain by masking it with pills that will worsen the root cause later in life.
Imagine for a moment, what it would feel like to make your Womb the Center of your Life? What if you trusted her and allowed her to take the forefront of your experiences? How do you think your relationship with her would change?
Yeah, that’s right. It would be F*kn spectacular. She would be gifting you with orgasms and joy as if it were her currency (because it is!).
So, stop dismissing and numbing your womb. Stop dismissing this form of communication just because it feels uncomfortable! Instead, open yourself to seeing PAIN as an avenue or communication that something is off balance and SEEK SUPPORT! Consider creating a practical routine DAILY to connect with your WOMB and watch the COMMUNICATION begin!
TIP #5 Use the Plant Kingdom – Herbs & Essential oils are our Best Allies!!
Ok, so this one is definitely on Google and you can easily find tons of plants and essential oils that will support with PMS. But before I have you going to do that, take a note how often you eat plants in your meals.
If you are consuming a lot of meat, dairy or processed foods, this is an opportunity to start cleaning up your act.
Alot of period pain can simply come from eating the JUNK that is fed to us by the food industry (former holistic nutritionist over here just planting some seeds!) so my general rule is KISS – Keep it Simple Silly.
If you are eating meat and dairy, make sure they are coming from VERY high-quality sources and start adding more plants and veggies into your life.
Plants are here as an original form of medicine and every woman receives joy from working and connecting to the plant kingdom because it’s natural to us. I can’t tell you enough how my life changed when I started using herbs and essential oils to support all parts of my life, most especially my womb health and vitality.
