Whenever I host women’s circles or feminine workshops there is always the question ‘how do I connect with my womb’?
I find this very interesting because as women it is our very nature to be connected with our womb. The issue is that our society has made us so disconnected to our womb that we have forgotten the basics of what this means.
So today I want to share with you my super easy tips to connect with your womb on a daily basis.
5 super easy tips to connect with your womb
Of course there are a million ways to connect with your womb and I’ve created an entire school on connecting with your feminine but if this is the first time you read about this or you’re relatively new to connecting with your home I truly believe that if you implement these on a daily or weekly basis you will in fact feel so much more connected to your womb.
After working with hundreds of women around returning to their feminine and connecting with their womb I know for a fact that simple is always better.
Let’s get on with my 5 super simple tips to connect with your womb:
Tip #1 to connect with your womb: slow down
Slow down my love.
Seriously. Right now. Take a breath. Wiggle your jaw. Relax your belly. Drop your shoulders.
Honestly, that’s something that women should be doing almost all day and I know that we don’t live in a world where we can live in that place but we can certainly train our body our nervous systems and our mind to continue coming back to that place more often than not.
I know firsthand from living in New York City after having lived in Hawaii that our environment absolutely plays a role in our ability to slow down. But I also know from first-hand experience that the main determining factor for my ability to slow down depends completely on me and my ability to return to my body.
So I strongly suggest creating a practice where you get to breathe into your body and allow yourself to think speak and feel just a little bit slower every single day.
I know it sounds simple. It may even sound ridiculous. But I promise you people around you will notice a difference and most importantly you will feel so much more connected to your body to your emotions to your feminine energy and of course inevitably to your womb.
Tip #2 to connect with your womb: keep a womb journal!
This one has to be my favorite. The concept of connecting to my womb first began many years ago after experiencing an abortion. I had no idea what connecting to my womb meant and I didn’t even know it was important. After experiencing a warm awakening I realized that my womb needed to be the center of my life there was no other way about it. So i had to develop a technique or a way to make this a priority and a part of my daily routine.
Naturally, being a detail-oriented Capricorn, planning strategic hyper-Mystic, I decided to create a planner that would help me drop into my womb every single day. And ever since not a day has gone by that I haven’t developed a relationship to my womb. There have been some magical things that have come along the way from using my menstrual magic planner which I share about in this course. You can grab a copy of a menstrual magic planner here or create your own. It’s really simple and it’s just a really easy way to remind yourself that your womb needs to be the center of your life.
I keep this planner by my bed so every morning and every evening I drop in and I write a few words about how I feel what’s going on in my womb and how my womb has guided me and brought magic into my day.
PS. This planner is already included as part of Menstrual Magic, your complete guide to womb health, cyclical living and sacred feminine practices that heal PMS, reconnect you with your feminine, and return you to the wisdom of your womb. So if you’re ready to take a deeper dive, check out the Course here!
Tip #3 to connect with your womb: cyclical living
OK, this one also has to be one of my favorites! I’m practically obsessed with cyclical living because it’s changed my life and my perspective of how this world moves.
Before understanding cyclical living it was very hard to slow down enough and soften enough so that space could be created for the womb to awaken and rise in her power. You see, cyclical living is not only a lifestyle but it is the reason why there is space created in our day-to-day flow for our feminine energy to move through us and guide us. When we embody the rhythm of cycles in our bodies we are naturally creating a space for our energy to drop into our womb. If we’re living a normal linear lifestyle, chances are there’s very little room in your life to allow for magic or feminine wisdom to move through you and you’re more likely living from your mind instead of the wisdom of your body AKA your womb.
So if you’re new to cyclical living I strongly suggest taking my free course: learn your cycle. There’s also an amazing training included inside.
And although cyclical living has really become popular these last few years I do believe that it is very watered down so even if you’re relatively familiar with cyclical living I still suggest taking my free course. I go really deep into details and help you apply them in a practical way.
Tip #4 to connect with your womb: connect with the elements!
Our bodies are made of the elements, earth water fire air. When we connect with these elements we return to our body. It really gets to be as simple as that and I wish somebody would have told me that early on. Yes there is grounding hugging trees and sun gazing but honestly you also just get to sit at home and gently blink while looking at a candlelight. Find easy ways to bring the elements into your daily routine and notice how this begins to shift your subtle awareness, your nervous system, your mental body, and so much more. Working with elements that are already in my daily routine, like the water in my shower, candles and my plants is a great way to connect to my womb. By creating more awareness and conscious connection with these elements, we create space for our energy bodies to drop into our womb.
Here’s a quick way of noticing whether you are making a conscious connection with these elements or not:
next time you take a shower notice how it feels. Is your mind busy? Are you thinking about what’s next in your day?
Or, are you taking the opportunity to slow down and notice how the water feels on your skin? Take a moment to close your eyes and place your head underneath the shower, noticing how the water feels when it hits your head. Perhaps even taking a seat and allowing the water to penetrate your heart as you breathe into your heart and allow this element to purify deeply inside.
It gets to be easy and you get to do it your way. But I promise you the more you connect with elements the more you will feel the ability to drop into your womb and receive the wisdom that lives there.
Tip #5 to connect with your womb: sacred feminine healing practices
Sacred feminine healing practices are my go-to recommendation for every single woman I work with. I don’t think there’s ever been a session or a consultation where a woman has not needed these healing modalities.
I strongly suggest implementing something like a womb oil massage or yoni-steam into your monthly routine. (Learn everything you need to Yoni-steam with this EASY DIY Course!)
If you learn how to do it yourself it is extremely low cost and honestly one of the most ancient, powerful and delightful experiences for a woman to have.
I teach you exactly how to do a Mayan womb massage and how to yoni steam from your home inside the Menstrual Magic course.
Bonus Tips to connect with your womb
Reclaim your Heart-womb connection.
Most women I work with have been cut-off from their womb, cutting off the energy that is supposed to move up into the heart, throat and eventually crown. This connection is SO important in connecting with your womb. In fact, many women who start to work on their heart-womb connection start to see immediate effects in the way they feel and perceive the force of the feminine in their lives because it becomes real very quickly.
The best way suggest doing this is working with the jaw/voice. The throat chakra is linked to the womb, so you can consciously work on your throat chakra and strenghten your heart-womb connection.
You can catch the womb-voice activation replay here or join me inside The Membership which includes this activation alongside additional trainings and workshops on working with feminine wisdom and womb connection.
This heart-womb connection is very important because it will create a pathway for the energy of your womb to travel through. Without it, we continue to be ‘cut off’ from the essential womb wisdom that lives within us.
Everything you need to learn to connect with your womb is inside the Menstrual Magic course!
I am so passionate about this course because it sets the foundation for every woman to connect with, apply, and heal the connection (and health) of their womb.
